Thomas Aue Sobol is a Danish freelance journalist whose work concentrates on human rights and social issues. His articles have been published in a wide range of newspapers and magazines across Europe. In 2008 he won the ‘Kristian Dahl’ legacy grant – awarded to the best young journalist of the year. In 2010 he received The Timbuktu Award for best critical journalism from developing countries. He is a former staff-reporter at the Danish daily ‘Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten’.
